An out-and-back half-marathon from parking area D in Prince William Forest Park. TAC certification shown has since expired. Terrain is entirely asphalt, very gently rolling or flat, using the Scenic Drive (aka park loop road) from parking area D to a point beyond parking area H (just before the steep downhill) and including out-and-back side trips to Oak Ridge campground on both the outbound and return legs. (This course covers another certified but expired course, the Rites of Spring 10km, from parking area D to the Oak Ridge road intersection and back.)
