Stinging Nettles

Seen 5/28/2010, 2:09pm, on the Cliff Walk at Newport, Rhode Island. Every British child must have vivid memories of stinging nettles, and some North Americans know them too. This may have been my first US sighting — if I am right about what these are. No, I did not feel them. Reference: Wikipedia
